A Neighborhood Church For All Our Neighbors

Located in downtown Charleston, South Carolina and next to the historic Hampton Park, Parkside Church is a creative new Presbyterian church that’s partnered with a historic Lutheran congregation. Our mission is to share and be the good news that God is pursuing all people to experience the beautiful way of Jesus lived out thoughtfully in our relationships, community, and culture.

TEAM JESUS,
WITH A DASH OF QUIRKINESS

From two different denominations working together to our sermon Q&A, we certainly have a few quirks. For us, though, it’s all about Team Jesus.

For all ages, from young aults to seniors, we like to think mutigenerational ministry is a perfect pairing.

Our Scripture-inspired “Micah Ethos” is coming together. Learn more about how you can help shape it here in Charleston and beyond.

Whether you’re struggling with depression or trauma, or just trying to figure out your next big step in life, coaching and counseling are great tools to help you heal and flourish.

These are the people who do the churchy stuff – like preaching, music, and getting kids to actually enjoy church. Also, our fearless lay leaders.

“Mawage. Mawage is wot bwings us togeder tooday.” Get a five dollar discount if you know the reference. Also, our sanctuary is one of the most affordable wedding venues in Charleston.

Got questions about faith or the Parkside church community? No religious sales pitch, just a conversation and a drink on us.

IN-PERSON WORSHIP

You just can’t beat the acoustics of in-person worship or the spiritual beauty of communion. That, and God tells us to do it.

ONLINE WORSHIP

Traveling and missed the service? Pandemics got you hunkered down? Or just want to check things out from safe virtual distance? Our online worship isn’t bad.
