About Our Sanctuary

Located at the Historic Saint Barnabas Church, our sanctuary is over 100 years old and reflects a unique era in Charleston church architecture. We are next to Hampton Park, have sufficient parking for wedding guests, and can host small receptions in the Fellowship Hall. Our sanctuary can comfortably hold approximately 130 people.

Fellowship Hall & Courtyard (Reception Venue)

In addition to renting our beautiful sanctuary for your ceremony, you can also rent our Fellowship Hall & Courtyard, which is the perfect venue for wedding receptions and gatherings. We have flexible pricing options allowing you to rent the Sanctuary only, the Fellowship Hall & Courtyard only, or both the Sanctuary and the Fellowship Hall & Courtyard for a full wedding ceremony and celebration.

Open To Members & Non-Members

A wedding here is first and foremost a covenant before God—but you do not need to be a member to be married here. We welcome everyone, and we are excited to help you take the next step in your commitment to one another before God.

Officiating

We would be happy to officiate your wedding with either traditional or custom vows. You are also more than welcome to provide your own officiant.

Reserve As Soon As Possible

If you feel that Parkside Church is the right venue for your wedding, we encourage you to begin the application process as soon as possible. Certain dates are reserved very quickly. The sooner you can get in touch with us, the sooner we can help to plan your ceremony and celebration.

Costs:

• Sanctuary rental for ceremony: $800.
• Fellowship Hall & Courtyard event rental only (no use of Sanctuary): $900
• Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall & Courtyard rental for ceremony and reception: $1500
• Officiating and custom wedding vows: $550 (+$150 for pre-marital counseling)
• Musicians: Individual musicians are available for hire at reasonable rates. Our wedding coordinator can connect you with musicians based on your preferences.
